What is the procedure for being included on your database?

All you need to do is to e-mail your curriculum vitae to us at info@mac.co.zm. Upon receipt your curriculum vitae will be included on our database. Should we have a position that matches your profile, we will then contact you.

Do I have to pay a fee to be included on your database?

No fee needs to be paid by potential candidates. Employers pay our fees.

Can I bring a hard copy of my curriculum vitae?

No, our database is electronic.

Should I send scanned copies of my educational qualifications?

No we do not need copies of your educational qualifications; all we need is your curriculum vitae prepared in Microsoft word. Please avoid sending scanned CV’s.

How long does it take to get employment through your organisation after sending my curriculum vitae?

We cannot estimate how long it will take, as employment opportunities will depend on requests we receive from clients.

How may I find what positions are open to applicants?

• Job vacancies are posted on our website- www.mac.co.zm.

• Some job vacancies are advertised in newspapers. 

How do I apply to a position advertised in the press or Internet?

You will need to write an application letter and attach your curriculum vitae. Where your curriculum vitae, is on our database, you only send an application letter and refer to the curriculum vitae.

Do I have to bring my application and/or resume into your Office?
It will depend on what the advert says, if it requires you to bring the application in person then you may do so but if you are required to e-mail it then only e-mailed applications will be accepted.
 
What happens once I apply for a position?
You wait to be contacted.

Do positions have a closing date?
Most do and this date will be provided.

Will I be informed once a position has been filled if I am not selected for the position?

Candidates called for an interview will be informed. Candidates not called for interviews will not be informed.

What happens if I submit an online or paper application for a recruitment that has already closed?

Unfortunately, you will not be considered.

After applying how long does it take to be called for a job interview?

It will depend on how urgently our client requires that particular position to be filled. If you are short listed, you will be contacted in due time.
